This list is updated at the beginning of each month. They represent the rankings as of the end of the previous calender month. Please do not contact me asking for the current ranking of an individual bug. I can not provide that without stats for ALL bugs in the race, which scoring volunteers submit to me at the end of each month. In the case of a tie, tying TB’s are listed in alphabetical order.
I encourage all racers to try and keep track of your own bugs. I am aware that mistakes can happen, especially in the early months of the race as scoring volunteers start to learn all the little nuances of scoring. If you feel that there might be a mistake in the score, feel free to contact me. It might be that there is something you missed (there are aspects of the scoring that you may not be considering) or something that the volunteer in charge of your bug missed. Even if you know who your volunteer is, please contact me first.

It would also be nice to have an owner column. Well done on keeping track everyone! I have a different score for mine… so I’ll have to go back and check my own scoring!
Yeah… I think I only have 70 pts?
Check your e-mail Erika. I’ve sent you some info about the score.
Woooooo 16th I figured id be dead last woooooooo
I applaud the volunteers for giving their time to score the race. I don’t want to make any more work for them, but perhaps I can make a suggestion that will avoid people contacting Trip asking about issues on their scores. Could the list of points for our TB be emailed to us along with the date compiled? This would make it easier to understand what was scored and if we have questions, we could see where our thoughts differ from the scorer. I’m assuming you’re compiling it on an Excel document like I am keeping track of mine. It would just be an email.
Again, thanks for all of your work.
deb3day
I will consider that, but at the moment it will be lower on the list of ideas to implement. The only downside is it means having to prepare a document for everyone and e-mail them the files. There are some easier ways to do it, but before anything is done it would be discussed with the volunteers to see what ideas they may have. But I will add it to the list of ideas. Thank you.
Yippee! My TB has finally turned up. Though I don’t know if there is enough time to catch up in the points. It went missing for 4 months and I thought it was gone for good.
Not sure it’s a good idea to have the reference number posted for each trackable because anyone can use it to log the trackable, e.g. someone could move it somewhere else. I just tested this by posting a note with my TB and it went through (I then deleted it).
Entogeek,
The reference number cannot be used to move a TB. Only the tracking number can do that. Notes can be posted by anyone as they do not need a tracking number. Try it again, but this time do a “Grab” or “Retrieve” and you will get a red error message saying you can’t log it without the tracking number. Don’t worry, posting reference numbers is safe.
Thanks for the clarification. As we’re now almost into November, are the the September results now up-to-date?
Entogeek,
I think there was only one data set that didn’t get submitted (which means eight bugs). Numbers started coming in today for October and I’ve already begun the process of updating my master file so which set didn’t get updated isn’t marked any more (I reset the colors I use to track data each time I go through an update). Since the two sets I took over back in September were the only ones with problems, I’m guessing that whichever volunteer managed that set had something more important come up.
